A world energy event With the successful 1st World Hydrogen Energy Conference (WHEC) of March 1976 accomplished, the 2nd World Hydrogen Energy Conference is now being planned. In the tradition established by this earlier event, it will provide a meeting-event worthy of this imoprtant Energy/Environment Topic: The Hydrogen Energy. The 2nd WHEC Conference will be a landmark evept in the world's accelerating search for new clean and abundant sources of energy. The theme of the meeting is "Progress Towards a Universal Hydrogen Energy System."
Conference coverage During the three-day event there will be sessions covering all facets of Hydrogen Energy including:
Primary,energy sources (Nuclear, Solar, Ocean-Thermal, Wind, Hydro .... ) Production (Electrolytic, Thermo-Chemical, Thermal, Photolysis,...) Storage (Gaseous, Liquid, Hydrides, Material Problems .... ) Transmission (Gaseous, Liquid, Cyro-Cable ..... ) Utilization (Transportation, Electrical, Industrial, Commercial and Residential,... ) Environmental effects and safety Economic problems, Alternatives Call for papers The Conference Committee welcomes your prospective high quality papers or other presentations. Please send title and abstract (about 400 words) as soon as possible, but no later than Octoberl, 1977 to: Dr. WALTER SEIFR1TZ,Chairman 2nd World Hydrogen Energy Conference Swiss Federal Institute for Reactor Research 5303 Wurenlingen, Switzerland The authors of abstracts selected will be informed by March 15, 1978. Final manuscripts will be due May 15, 1978.
