A multi-authored monograph, with 41 contributors from 12 countries. “The principle objective is to examine only metal oxides that are most attractive from the catalytic point of view, and most specifically transition metal oxides”. The second half of the book is entirely devoted to catalysts. The title is misleading, it should have made it clear that this is really a book about transition metal oxide catalysts.
