Flowserve to acquire Lawrence Pumps

Xylem Inc has started operating as a US$3.2 billion standalone global water technology company following its spinoff from ITT Corp.

Flowserve Corp is buying centrifugal pump maker Lawrence Pumps Inc.

Gardner Denver to buy Italy’s Robuschi Gardner Denver Inc has entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire the Italian blower and pump company Robuschi SpA for €152 million. Robuschi is headquartered in Parma, Italy and has additional facilities in Noceto, Italy; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Shanghai, China. With annual revenues of €70 million, Robuschi serves more than 3000 customers and has an installed

base of more than 200 000 units. The company’s blowers, pumps and associated packages are used in a number of end markets including wastewater, mining, power generation and general industrial applications.
