“After the evaluation of potential footprint scenarios as part of our Global Manufacturing Program, the offer made by Altifort is a material step towards streamlining the GEA production footprint. We are delighted to offer an industrial future to the production facility and skill-enhancing prospects for all employees,” said Steffen Bersch, member of the GEA executive board and responsible for the Business Area Equipment. “If we sell this production site, our customers will experience no difference at all as our product portfolio, previously produced in Château-Thierry, will remain completely unchanged.” “We would be delighted to integrate this production unit into the Altifort Group and would welcome the GEA employees on site whose high level of skills and qualifications is currently lacking in the group. We have a detailed, sustainable business plan with solid commercial prospects thanks to a substantial backlog and a real development plan for activities for which the know-how of the employees is an essential and precious asset,” added Bart Gruyaert, general manager of Altifort. GEA’s Château-Thierry production facility employs more than 100 people. The administrative offices for GEA’s other activities that are located in Château-Thierry will not be affected by the transaction.

well as accessing talks, events and breakout sessions, participants will also get to take part in the forum’s interactive spaces, interact with forum participants, and chat with experts while exploring the exhibition area. “We have received tremendous feedback from business leaders and our customers about the insight and learnings that they have gained from attending our forum over the years,” said Kim Jensen, regional managing director of Grundfos Asia Pacific region. “This year, we are hosting the conference online so that we can reach more industry professionals who are not able to make it to the event in person.” “Just as how technology has changed our relationship with water, it has transformed the way we get to engage with one another. With the virtual conference, people will not only get to tap into a wealth of knowledge, but also actively participate in the discussions with our experts and other participants.” To encourage greater engagement, online participants will also be automatically enrolled into the Leaderboard Challenge, where points are gained through participation. The top five participants will win a trip to Grundfos’s headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark. Register for the virtual conference at https:// grundfos.6connex.com/event/Forum2018/login
