The analgesic effeot of electroacupuncture(Rem&hong"DE426" and Chengjiang "RX 24") was measured in adult rats with tail stimitationvooalisationtest. The brain 5-HT content was deterninedwith spectrophotofluorometer.Clinioal observationwas carried out on '315cases of abdomigal tuboligatlonunder acupunctureanesthesiawith double blind method. m: After injectionof insulin(l.4-1.6units/kg, i.p.1 a siguifioant inorease in aeupunotureanalgesiawas observed, and the brain 5-ET level was inorease in aou.unaturPr anal&esiawas inoreasedby 479%.A more significant observed after aminophyllineinjeotion(60m&g, i,p.), and the brain 5-RT level was increasedb 63%. The role of serotonerglo neuronal system underlying these effects was suggested.

AIN OF INYESTIGATION,In order to investigate the neurochsaical aech- aoisa of AA,the relationship between the ACh and the primary input of AA information was studied. NETEODS,Acupoints of rat(SD) corresponding to “Zhusanli ” and “Huantiao” were acupuactured by mans of “DN-A” type AA apparatus and pain threshold was expressed in ailtampere required for irrtating screuing of rat.
