Indutrade acquires Norwegian filtration technology group Sweden’s Indutrade has signed an agreement to acquire all of the shares in the Norwegian Lekang Group, which includes Lekang Maskin AS in Norway, Filterteknik Sverige AB in Sweden and Filterteknik A/S in Denmark. The Lekang Group specialises in products and services, mainly for the filtration of fluids, for industrial, marine and offshore applications in Scandinavia. In addition to system solutions for filtration and filtration equipment, the companies provide consumables such as filters and products for licence control of industrial equipment. The Lekang Group had sales of approximately SEK200

million in 2008 and in 2009, with 60 employees. “We have had strong development in recent years, but now feel it is time to take the next step in our growth. With Indutrade as our owner, we will obtain the help and support that is needed. Together we have an exciting period ahead of us,” said Egil Lekang, president of Lekang Maskin AS in Norway. FLSmidth to supply filters to the Middle East FLSmidth has won a €49.5 million order from a company in the Middle East for engineering services and equipment, including filters, for the expansion of a copper mine in the region. FLSmidth will deliver stockpile feeders, a SAG mill, ball

GLV receives large-scale contracts worth almost C$39mn GLV Inc has been awarded new large-scale contracts worth close to C$39 million. The company’s Water Treatment Group secured a C$13.5 million order from an Australian food processing company for a system that allows the reuse of up to 3 million litres of process water per day. The Water Treatment

Group has also won two contracts, together worth C$9.7 million, for the delivery of water screening systems to Middle East companies operating in the energy and oil and gas sectors.
