This symposium focuses on detection and treatment of subclinical disease in acute leukemia. The relative value of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation programs as well as the usefulness of new experimental approaches (cell separation, cell culture systems, monoclonal antibodies) and their integration into clinical management will be the major topics.
