Cytec expands its range of Crylcoat resins for architectural applications Cytec Industries Inc will present its Crylcoat polyester resins that fully cure at a temperature of as low as 150°C to 160°C at the Annual Meet of the Powder Coating & Finishing Industry and Powder Coating Show in Wuhan, China, on 22 Oct 2012. The featured Crylcoat E 04279 and Crylcoat 4648-0 resins are able to meet the existing market needs in China for improved process efficiency through its ability to fully cure at 150°C to 160°C within 10 minutes; excellent weathering resistance and blooming resistance demanded for architectural outdoor applications; and an ability to coat at various

C O AT I N G S thicknesses, an improvement of the standard powder coating system. The lower curing temperature of these Crylcoat resins cuts down on time and energy needed by high temperature curing. This translates into an increased production rate and cost savings.
