ITT targets US federal stimulus projects

TT Corp says it is ready to meet the Buy American requirements of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Lewa forms joint venture in Singapore

ewa Pte Ltd, the Singapore subsidiary of Lewa GmbH, and a team of local managers have set up a joint venture to serve the process industry in the Asia-Pacific region. Singapore-based Pump Alliance Pte Ltd will market Lewa diaphragm pumps and systems, API-674 positive displacement pumps, and API-610 centrifugal pumps from the Canadian manufacturer CPC Pumps International Inc. The new joint venture will be headed up by Paul Beddard as managing director. “Pump Alliance is the gathering of products with an exceptional reputation and our extensive experience in the respective mar-

Allweiler offers spare parts kits

A

llweiler is now selling spare parts kits for all of its standard pumps. The kits contain all of the parts that must be replaced on a regular basis during standard maintenance and which have similar usage cycles. “Working from our extensive experience with these products, we have compiled the spare parts kits so they contain all of the parts needed for standard maintenance. As a result, the pumps must be shut down and disassembled for maintenance less often,” said Ulrich Gerschermann, director of spare parts for progressing cavity pumps. Allweiler guarantees the shipment of kits from stock within 48 hours. The kits are small, easy to keep in stock, and can save the customer up to 10% on the cost of buying all of the components individually. “Using spare parts kits gives the user the peace of mind that he is
