Solihull, have been appointed sales agents for a unique “exhibition afloat” which will tour two prime potential export areas-the Arabian Gulf and South East Asianext year. The exhibition, World wide Expo, will be held on the extensive car decks of the ship M.V. Tar Scandinavia, the latest addition to the Tor Line Fleet. The decks will be transformed by carpeting, walls and false ceilings into exhibition areas, with space for 250 stands. The M.V. Tor Scandanavia voyage around the Arabian Gulf will start in Kuwait on 10 February, 1978 and will provide 13 exhibition days as follows: Kuwait (3 days), Bahrein (2), Damman (4), Dubai (2) and Abu Dhabi (2). The South East Asian voyage begins in Singapore on 5 March, 1978 and will have 12 exhibition days: Singapore (3 days), Kuala Lumpur (Port Kelang) (2), Djakarta (2). Manila (2), and Hong Kong (3). The exhibition will cover a broad range of industrial and consumer products, although it is expected that the emphasis will be on technology. It will afford companies wishing to sell all types of industrial equipment and know-how as well as a wide range of consumer products an ideal opportunity to reach these two markets which are generally considered to have vast export potential.
