2013 Research Awards SIR Foundation is a scientific foundation dedicated to fostering research in interventional radiology for the purposes of advancing scientific knowledge, increasing the number of skilled investigators and developing innovative therapies that lead to improved patient care and quality of life. The Foundation is committed to developing and enhancing innovative, minimally invasive, image-guided therapies from inception to mature clinical application and to conducting educational programs in the service of its mission. Each year SIR Foundation proudly supports award programs that recognize outstanding achievements in research and innovation. The 2013 research awards will be presented on Monday, April 15, during the “Quality in IR” plenary session at 10:00 am in the Auditorium.
