Areas which will be considered include (in alphabetical order) Abstract odels of Computation, Analysis of Algorithzns, Automata Theory, Computability Theory, Computaaional Complexity, Formal La~~gu.agc=Theoqr, Formal Semantics, Progu;sm Verification, Switching Theory, Theorem Proving. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list. Uniform standards will be applied in the selection of papers, and no attempt will be made to erlphasize any particular area. Submissions Tanging from general papers (possibly surveying or unifying several fields) to detailed technical papers (prefaced by general motivating remarks) will be considered. The members of the Program Committee will not be submitting papers,
