A SPECIAL INVITATION TO A'ITEND DMA'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE OCTOBER 28-31,1990 to Full-time Professors Attending 2nd Annual Educators' Conference Full-time educators who attend the Educators' Conference, regardless of whether they present a paper or not, are invited to attend the Direct Marketing Association's Annual Conference and Trade Show as guests of DMA. The Second Annual Educators' Conference will be held concurrently with the opening day of the DMA Conference which runs from October 28-31, 1990. This is the most comprehensive conference on direct marketing in the world. Over 150 sessions covering all aspects of direct marketing will be presented to delegates. Several thousand direct marketers are expected to attend. Sessions cover industry segments such as: catalogs, fund raising, businesss-tobusiness, financial services, direct response agencies ... and more. Industry leaders review computer support systems, applications of various media to direct marketing techniques, new technology, production and creative issues, research and testing, database applications, strategic planning, analysis, and ... more. Keynote speakers will be drawn from world events, politics, and business. Strategic issues facing direct marketing will be discussed. A Trade Exhibition will feature hundreds of suppliers to the direct marketing business.
The ECHO Awards ... direct marketing's equivalent to the Obie's will be presented. Learn who's doing what ... what's working ... and gain some ideas for possible research. This is a chance to learn about the fastest growing area of business, how to integrate it with general marketing and advertising ..from experts in the field. It's a chance to meet practitioners on a one-to-one basis and make contacts for your teaching and research.

You must attend the Educators' Conference on October 28th to be eligible for complimentary registration for the DMA Conference.
