Develop new models of integrated team effort by incorporating the roles of the consumer, payor, case manager, and clinician in delivery models. Address insurance industry concerns regarding rehabilitation programs’ cost-containment and cost-effectiveness. Stress the need for clinical pathways with positive functional outcomes and show efficacy acrossthe continuum of care.

Promote innovative practice and creative delivery of care. l Recognize that health care is increasingly a consumer-driven system. Corporate and institutional membership in ACRM is open to companies and institutions that support the goals and mission of ACRM. Membership provides opportunities for active participation in an organization that addressesthe needs of rehabilitation professionals who serve people with disabilities across a lifetime of care. l
