MR. C. E. BONINE i~z the Chair. The following reports were presented for first reading: No. 2657.--Paint and Varnish Remover. No. 2667.--Dixie Magneto. On the recommendation of the Sub-Committee on Literature, the following awards were made for papers in the JOURNAL, 1915: NO. 2662.--The Howard N. Potts Medal to Mr. W. S. Murray, of Hartford, Conn., for his paper entitled " Conditions Affecting the Success of Main Line Electrification," described by the subcommittee as an original and highly valuable contribution to an important phase of the transportation problem.
