The Seventh Annual Goldschmidt Conference will be held at the Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, Arizona, from June Z-6,1997. The Goldschmidt Conference is an international conference of geochemists, and is held alternatively in Europe and North America. The content of the meeting reflect5 to 5ome extent the host institution(5). The Department of Planetary Sciences/Lunar and Planetary Laboratory ie dedicated to the goal of research and teaching about the formation and evolution of the planetary system and it5 constituent object5 and processes. The Department of Geosciences focuses on re-
search and education dealing with the nature, genesis, and history of the Earth and it5 crust. The program committee welcome5 your suggestions for potential symposia topics and solicits volunteer5 to act a5 symposia organizers.
