ARABIANBREEDERDONATES INDOORARENATOCOLORADO STATE Bud andLouiseAdamsof Scottsdale, Arizona have generously donated the "Adams Arena" to the Equine Sciences Program at Colorado State University. The 275' by 140' modified Port-A-Stall building will contain an indoor arena, tack rooms, wash rack, treatment room and approximately 35 box stalls. Further, there willbe space for future construction of classrooms, offices and a student lounge. Currently the "sales center" for Adams' Arabians, the "Adams Building" will be dismantled in Scottsdale, moved to Fort Collins and re-erected.

Bud and Louise Adams are wellknown breeders of Arabian horses, with horses such as Top Contender and Bask Flame. They have been involved in showing, training and breeding Arabian horses for many years. Their son, Rob, is an alumnus of Colorado State. This facility is complemented by an impressive existing indoor facility,315' x 250', which opened in 1987. It is anticipated that the "Adams Arena" will be ready for use in the fall of 1993. In addition, construction will begin this summer to complete the existing indoor arena with stadium seating for 2,000 people, rest rooms, announcer's booth, entry and concession areas.
