Crest Ultrasonic’s Push-Pull Transducers are encapsulated transducers mounted on each end of titanium bars. All of the sound gets transmitted into the liquid, as the transducers are always placed in the bath. The Push Pulls can be easily removed and placed into another tank. If the liquid in the ultrasonic bath should accidentally drain out, the Push Pulls automatically stop. The cleaning performance is near perfect and the maintenance convenience is unmatched.

This system has the capability to incorporate a wide variety of ultrasonic frequencies including standard and sweep. The modular concept allows for a variety of process configurations as well as ultrasonic insertion into any liquid tank. It is designed for manual or optional automatic operation.

ppb Inc.‘s meter detects energy in W/gal and frequencies from 0 to 2 MHz in ultrasonic and megasonic cleaning tanks, which allows the customer to monitor cleaning tank performance, set tank energy level, establish tank-to-tank uniformity, and map the energy variations in the tank. The meter is available as a portable unit with 100 memory locations and RS-232 downloading capabilities or as a panel-mount-ready unit with two 4 to 20 mA outputs of energy and frequency for PLC communications.
