Wider, steeper troughs allow the skimmer to remove more viscous fluids from water and water-base solutions at up to 40 gal per hr. The Model 8 is designed to perform under a wide range of conditions. It handles temperatures up to 212°F and can be used at depths from 1 to 100 ft.

It provides a fully automated, flow-control feature not found on other types of pH pumps and controllers. The units include a temperature compensation trimmer, a liquid-level control input, and a utility input connector specifically for an alarm. Flow ranges are between 1 and 18 liters per hour.
