ML 313 Current Techniques and Principles in Bony Reconstvuction of the Jaws Robert E. Marx, DDS, Miami, FL Predictable reconstruction of the jaws and maxillofacial skeleton are predicated on the four cornerstones of bone cell regeneration biology, and the judicious use of myocutaneous flaps, allogeneic tissue implants, and hyperbaric oxygen where indicated. This presentation will discuss the mechanisms and the surgical techniques of each as well as unique approaches to specific reconstructive challenges.
