ERRATUM H-Tong Cheon, J. Cugnon, Effective interaction for pion absorption and production by two nucleons at low energies, Nucl. Phys. B66 (1973) 412. A programming error and a misprint were found in the calculation of the stopped 7r- absorption rate by a deuteron. We want to present here the correct rates. Eq. (40) and table 3 of the paper should read as follows:
