Fertility and Sterility姞

Errata In the article, “Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation protocols for in vitro fertilization: two decades of experience after the birth of Elizabeth Carr,” by M. Arslan, S. Bocca, S. Mirkin, G. Barroso, L. Stadmauer, and S. Oehninger (Fertil Steril 2005;84(3):555– 69), there was an error in the opening paragraph on page 555. The corrected first sentence is: “It has been 26 years since the birth of Louise Brown in Oldham, England, and 23 years since the birth of Elizabeth Carr in Norfolk, Virginia, the first two IVF babies born in Europe and the United States, respectively.” In the article, “Treatment preferences and trade-offs for ovulation induction in clomiphene citrate–resistant patients with polycystic ovary syndrome” (Fertil Steril 2005;84(2): 420 –5), the author neglected to include one of his coauthors. The complete list of coauthors is as follows: Neiman Bayram, Madelon van Wely, Fulco van der Veen, Patrick M. M. Bossuyt, and Pythia Nieuwkerk. Dr. Laura T. Goldsmith’s name was inadvertently omitted as a coauthor from the letter to the Editor from Mario M. Leitao, Jr., M.D., titled “Optimal study design and the CONSORT guidelines” (Fertil Steril 2005;84(4):1057). Our apologies to Drs. Leitao and Goldsmith.
