Papers are invited on topics of current research interest in the field of i~d~tr~a~ econo including: - theory of industrial organization, - industrial case studies, - mergers, acquisition and co-operative agreements, - research and development, innovation, - industrial, technology and competition policy. Special sessions are foreseen on: - European industrial policies towards the unemployment crisis (as continuation of the session at the 1988 Conference), - industrial economics of small business jointly organized with the European Small Business Council, - comparative studies on industrial economics in East and West jointly organized wth the Vienna Institute for Comparative Economic Studies. Those who would like to present a paper should send a 300-word abstract no !a%~ than March 1 1989 for preliminary screening. Four copies of the full-length papers not exceeding 13,CMX9 words should be received for a final review by the Programme Committee by May 15, 1989.
