FACT PAGE-A

NEW FEATURE IN AAP

Occasionally one encounters a really “interesting” table or graph illustrating some facet of accident analysis. Perhaps it is interesting because it summarizes novel data for a country, sector, or circumstance. Perhaps it is interesting because it contradicts the conventional wisdom or is counter-intuitive. AAP plans to publish a regular feature containing such information. Some ground

rules for submission:

The table/graph should be based on actually measurable data from authoritative sources, not data from opinion surveys. The data may be accompanied by a short (about 500 words) essay commenting on the data or its implications. In the essay, opinion is, of course, welcome. Submissions may be sent either to the Editor-in-Chief, Haight, or to the Fact Page Editor: Charles Lave Department of Economics University of California Irvine, CA 92717 U.S.A.
