INNS Geology and Geophysics SIG The INNS announces the formation of the Geology and Geophysics Special Interest Group, intended to promote the participation of professionals in these fields that are interested in or currently researching the use of neural networks for solving many of the extreme nonlinear problems encountered in Geophysics and Geology today, particularly in Seismic Data Processing, Log Interpretation, and Seismic Tomography. The Geology and Geophysics SIG will be devoted to gathering and broadcasting information about the latest developments in neural networks applied to these disciplines. Conferences are also part of the future agenda.
