These new generators have an additional row of teeth on the rotor and stator which causes much more particle collision and reaction within the generator. The additional shear applied by these rotor/stator generators has considerably improved production in several critical applications. The DR 3-2316 generator has the additional advantage of a pump wheel mounted in the center of the rotor to increase the pumping capacity of the unit.
