Neural Networks: Biological Computers or Electronic Brains Lyon, France, March 6-8,1990

Organized by the Lyon Conference and the Association Francaise pour la CybernPtique (AFCET) and sponsored by the Associazione Itaiiana per I’lnformatica ed II Calcolo Automatic0 (AICA), The British Computer Society (BCS), and the Gesellschaft ftir Informatik e. V. (GI). The Lyon Conference provides, at a regular two-year interval, a complete outlook of the knowledge, equipment and applications developed worldwide, in a specific field of interest related to computer science. Experts in a wide range of scientific and technical sectors, whose contribution appears quite significant, will gather. Therefore, the Lyon Conference will offer the adequate environment for stimulating exchanges. The synergy thus created, will open up new perspectives.

Neural Networks will be the theme of the March 1990 Lyon Conference. Following each lecture, time will be devoted to discussions, so that the neurobiologists, neurocomputer scientists and engineers interested in the applications of this type of networks might exchange information Between sessions, participants wishing to further discuss particular topics, either among themselves or with lecturers, will be provided with all adequate facilities.
