Recognizing the im portance of the A m erican Standards A ssociation as the clearinghouse for standards o n a national and international level, the Council on D ental R esearch subm itted the A m erican D ental A ssociation specifications for dental m aterials to the A m erican Standards A sso ciation for approval as A m erican Standard speci fications. T he A m erican D ental A ssociation was m ade proprietary sponsor fo r subsequent revisions of the specifications accepted by the A m erican Standards A ssociation. T he following includes revisions in A m erican Standard specifications ap proved on A pril 5, 1965.
