Physician's Evaluation and Educational Review in Emergency Medicine The Phys,c,an's Evaluation and Educational Review (PEER) in Emergency Medicine makes available, for the first time, a teaching exammat,on designed to enable a physician to personally measure educational needs In Emergency Medicme. This self-assessment allows the phys,clan to tailor his continuing medical educahon Pro. gram to upgrade areas of greatest need or interest. Future offerings of PEER will help h,m determme how Well he has accomplished hts objecttves. Making the Assessment The steps to be followed ,n apply, ng for the test are: 1) F, II out the apphcahon form 2) Send the apphcatton, together wtth a check for the appropriate amount indicated below, to the College. 3) Enclose your personal check for '~he followtng amounts. Members of ACEP $30.00 Non-Members $50.00 EmergencyMedtctne Residents $20.00 Donations to the Emergency Medtcme Foundation in excess of the charge for the test also make the mdtvldual ehglble for a copy of PEER Field tests of PEER requtred an average of four hours to complete the almost 300 question exammatton Based on this experience, the ACEP Contmutng Medical Education Committee has approved the examinahon for four credtt hours. These credtts will apply to the conttnuing education requtrement of the American College of Emergency Phys,cians. The completed answer sheet must be returned for cred,t. I
