Announcement

Phytochemical Society of North America (www.psna-online.org) 2009 Meeting (Towson University, Baltimore MD, USA): Biologically Active Phytochemicals The Phytochemical Society of North America (PSNA) is a nonprofit scientific organization with membership open to those interested in plant biochemistry, phytochemistry, and the role of plant substances in related disciplines. Annual meetings featuring symposium topics of current general interest and contributed papers by conference participants are held throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico. PSNA meetings provide participants with exposure to cutting-edge research presented by prominent international scientists, but remain intimate enough to allow interaction and collegiality. Recent meetings were previously held on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS (2006), the Danforth Plant Science Center, St. Louis, MO (2007) and Washington State University, Pullman, WA (2008). The 2009 PSNA Meeting (August 8–12, 2009) will be held at Towson University, Towson MD (a suburb of Baltimore MD) and will have an emphasis on Biologically Active Phytochemicals. Information on the meeting can be accessed at www.psnaonline.org. PSNA Newsletter and Phytochemistry The Society newsletter keeps members informed of new developments, and provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas. Phytochemistry publishes many of the membership’s papers, and members are eligible for a discounted subscription to the journal.
