The S-60N 60 t o n n e mechanical powder compacting press went into operation in February at Lauffer Pressen, Horb am Neckar, Germany. It is tooled with a multip l a t e n dieset for p o w d e r metallurgy (PM) p a r t p r o d u c t i o n
a n d c o m p l i m e n t s t h e firm's existing S-20A d e m o n s t r a t i o n p r e s s in t h e UK, w h i c h is t o o l e d for b o t h h a r d m e t a l a n d PM parts.
