Press Headquarters The Association’s Bureau of Public Information will operate the official press headquarters for the annual session in the Inter national Hotel. All news releases, photographs, and news inter views with representatives of the press, radio, and television should be handled through this office. All participants in the sci entific session and industrial exhibits should contact this office when requested by any representative of news media for inter views or information as to presentations or exhibits.

Inform ation Services The information booth will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily at the Las Vegas Convention Center, from Sunday, Novem ber 8 through Wednesday, November 11. Tickets for social activities and sightseeing tours will be sold at the ticket booths at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Sun day, November 8 through Wednesday, November 11. Shuttle bus transportation tickets may be purchased at the ticket booths. Every effort will be made to transmit messages, letters, or tele grams promptly to the individuals concerned. Names of persons for whom messages are received and who cannot be located read ily will be posted on the bulletin board at the Las Vegas Convention Center. General information may be obtained either by calling in per son at the booth or by telephoning the Association’s general infor mation headquarters at the International Hotel. The Association will have its own switchboard and the telephone number will be listed in the official program.
Television ADA TV Network: For the ninth consecutive year, the American Dental Association will operate its own closed circuit television network in Las Vegas. Programs will be broadcast directly to tele vision sets in rooms of major convention hotels. Included will be scientific presentations, clinical demonstrations, panel discussions, convention news, interviews with national and international fig ures, news of the world, and weather. A complete list of television presentations will be available at the registration desks.
Daily Bulletin The ADA Daily Bulletin will be published each morning Sunday through Thursday, November 8-12. Copies will be delivered to convention hotels and to the registration area in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
H ospitality Room for International Guests The Council on International Relations of the American Dental Association will maintain a hospitality room for international guests in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Coffee and tea will be served.
Health Screening Program at 111th Annual Session The Health Screening Program will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center at the 111th annual session. This is the sixth year for this program. Chest radiographs will be included this year. Tests for glaucoma, serum cholesterol, blood sugar, blood urea nitrogen, and uric acid will also be included. An electro cardiogram will be taken on each participant. A complete exami nation for head and neck pathology and periodontal disease will include a Panorex radiograph.
S cie ntific Program The scientific program of the American Dental Association will open with the display of scientific and educational exhibits on Sunday, 10:00 am, November 8. Beginning at 2:00 pm, a full schedule of essays, scientific session lectures, clinical lectures, table clinics, and motion pictures will be programmed. The morn ing sessions, starting Monday, November 9, will begin at 9:30 am, and the afternoon sessions at 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm every day through Wednesday, November 11. All scientific presentations under the direction of the Council on Scientific Session will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Essays Twenty-two sessions will be devoted to essays and panels on the following sections: anesthesiology, endodontics, operative dentis try, oral surgery, orthodontics and oral development, pedodontics, periodontics, practice administration, complete prosthodontics, partial prosthodontics, public health, radiology and research.

S cie n tific and Educational Exhibits Approximately 30 scientific and educational exhibits will be on display beginning Sunday, November 8, at 10:00 am, and each succeeding day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, through Wednesday, November 1 1.

Use of Tape Recorders Some of the essayists and clinical lecturers at past annual sessions o f the Association have objected to the use o f recording devices by people in the audience. Since the American Dental Association assumes no responsibility with respect to the making or taking of such recordings by individuals in the audience, those who do not wish to have their presentations and/or comments recorded, are requested to make an appropriate announcement before begin ning their presentations.

First Aid A first aid room is located in the Las Vegas Convention Center. A registered nurse will be on duty from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
Food Service Food service will be provided in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Income Tax Reminder S cie n tific Session Lectures As an additional feature of the scientific program, it has been possible to schedule special lectures, separate from the essay pro gram, beginning Sunday, at 2:00 pm, and continuing through Wed nesday. Along with selected lectures by individuals, programs will be presented by the American Dental Association Councils on Hospital Dental Service and Dental Research.
C linical Lectures Thirty-nine clinical lectures of 20 minutes each on various phases o f dentistry will be presented beginning Sunday at 2:00 pm.
Table Clinics More than 200 table clinics will be presented by individuals, study clubs, and research groups. Of these, approximately 53 table clinics will be presented by dental students representing accredited dental schools in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada in the Student Table Clinic Program under a grant from Dentsply International Inc.
S cie ntific Presentations on ADA TV Network Under the direction o f Marshall W. Mueller, Council on Scientific Session television coordinator, the Council will present scientific programs consisting of selected demonstrations and clinics on the A D A TV Network. These programs will be televised directly to television sets in rooms of major hotels in Las Vegas.
M otion Picture Program The motion picture program will be presented Sunday afternoon, and Monday through Wednesday, morning and afternoon. 346 ■ JADA, Vol. 81, August 1970
The back o f each dentist’s Association membership card will be stamped when he registers. It should be retained to verify atten dance at the meeting for income tax purposes.
Industrial Exhibits The products o f over 300 exhibitors will be on continuous display at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A complete G uide to Indus trial Exhibits will be distributed at the time of registration.
