15.2 Energy-Momentum Vector 15.2.1 Introduction and Definitions In the non-relativistic mechanics there is a number of constants of motion. These include the energy and the momentum of the particle. The objective of this section is to define the energy and the momentum of a particle in the framework of the special theory of relativity.
