Pilot Ben Sizemore Receives Award Ben Cross, a pilot for Keystone Helicopter Corporation, has received MBB's 1990 Golden Hour Award. Cross, who flies for Hahnemann University's MedEvac program, received the award for his heroic rescue of a fisherman stranded in a tree in the middle of a rain-swollen river. Cross expertly maneuvered an MBB BK 117 to within a few feet of the tree and positioned the helicopter so the pilot was able to grab onto an aircraft skid. An air medical crew member helped pull the fisherman safely into the helicopter.
