Transguide: A guide to sources of freight transportation information

Data were collected in six United States cities-Boston, St. Paul, San Francisco, Phoenix, Dallas and Oklahoma City-on more than 12,000 pickups and deliveries made from the curb. Regression equations correlate the amount of traffic blockage as a function of traffic engineering variables. Six traffic engineering strategies are proposed for reducing the impacts of pickups and deliveries on traffic flow.

This is considered total coverage of firms having either full- or part-time traffic departments.
