10TH INTERNATIONAL S Y M P O S I U M SOLIDS

ON T H E REACTIVITY OF

Dijon, France, 27 August - 1 September 1984

The 10th International Symposium on the Reactivity of Solids will be held in Dijon, France, 27 August to I September 1984. The Symposium deals with chemical reactions involving mineral and organic solids in their different crystallized and amorphous states, in solid-gas, solid-solid and solid-liquid systems. Results concerning relations between the reactivity of solids and processes dealing with the formation and the movement of defects (point defects, dislocations, extended defects, outer and inner surfaces, grain boundaries, etc.) as well as with the adsorbed chemical species and impurities, fit well into the scope of the Symposium. Studies treating the most fundamental aspects of the reactivity of solids and those proposing new paths to industrial applications will be welcome. Official languages will be English and French probably with simultaneous translation. Further information is obtainable from: 10 ~ ISRS, Secretariat Ex6cutif, Laboratoire de R~activit6 des Solides, Facult6 des Sciences Mirande, B.P. 138, F-21004 D~ion Cedex, France.
