The Graduate Student Research Paper Certificates of Excellence were awarded to 12 graduate students in recognition of high-quality research papers presented at the 1993 Annual Meeting. As Certificate of Excellence awardees, they are eligible to submit papers for the Poultry Science Association Graduate Student Research Manu-script Award for 1993. The manuscript or reprint of the published paper based on the award-winning presentation should be submitted in five copies to the Chairperson of the Graduate Student Research Manuscript Award Committee, F. E. Robinson, Department of Animal/ Poultry Science, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, T6G 2P5. Those graduate students who won a Certificate of Excellence in the oral sections and reported on research regarding turkeys were given the Nicholas Graduate Student Paper Award for Turkey Research. This award was initiated at the 1993 Annual Meeting and provides $500 per recipient.
