C h i n a This conference is organised by the Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering (SIME) under the sponsorship of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Association for Scienceand Technology and the Shanghai Commission on Energy. In view of the importance of energy and environmental problems associated with city development, the objective of the conference is to discuss relevant research and development. Topics range from energy policy, economics and planning to clean energy technology, combustion and alternative fuels and power plant equipment and auxiliaries.
