Presented by: International Association for Hydrogen Energy Hosted by: Organizing Committee of 3rd WHEC Conference Supported by: Ministry of Education, Science & Culture (tentative) Ministry of International Trade & Industries (tentative) Hydrogen Energy System Society of Japan Clean Energy Research Institute, University of Miami A world eneroy event With the successful 2nd World Hydrogen Energy Conference (WHEC) of August 1978 accomplished, the 3rd World Hydrogen Energy Conference is now being planned. In the tradition established by the earlier events, it will provide a mceting-event worthy of this important Energy/Environment Topic: The Hydrogen Energy. The 3rd WHEC will be another landmark event in the world's accelerating search for new and abundant sources of energy. The theme of this meeting is "PRESENT STATUS OF THE ULTIMATE ENERGY SYSTEM FOR MANKIND".
Conference coveraoe During the four-day event there will be sessions covering all facets of Hydrogen Energy including: Metal hydrides and their applications Vehicles and hydrogen Hydrogen combustion Hydrogen in direct reduction processes Interface between hydrogen and electric power Overall system, environmental, material and other aspects
Conversion of primary energy sources to hydrogen Electrolytic hydrogen production Thermochemical and hybrid hydrogen production Innovative hydrogen production Transmission and distribution systems Hydrogen as a feed-stock in chemical and petrochemical industries
Call for papers The Conference Committee welcomes your prospective high quality papers or other presentations. Please send title and abstract (about 400 words) as soon as possible, but no later than 1 September 1979 to: Dr. TogJo OHTA, Chairman 3rd World Hydrogen Energy Conference c/o Japan Convention Services, Inc. Nippon Press Center Bldg 2-2-1 Uchisaiwai-eho, Chiyoda-ku Tokyo 100, Japan. The authors of abstracts selected will be informed by 15 November 1979. Final manuscripts will be due 1 February 1980. 252
