66-year-old postmenopausal woman presented with pelvic pain and vaginal bleeding. She was obese (BMI 36 kg/m2), hypertensive, and diabetic. Pelvic examination showed a bloody, fragile mass that protruded through the cervix into the vagina. Total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy was performed. The uterine corpus was 14 cm × 10 cm in diameter. After transection of the uterus an off-white mass measuring 12 cm × 6 cm × 5 cm was found filling
