A study about the structure of VX SGR circumstellar envelope AAnS 34/l (1993) 26-31 YU Zhi-yao (Shanghai Observatory) Using the VLBI observation of SiO maser, MERLIN observation of I-I20 and OH maser, we have studied the complex space structure of VX Sgr and emission line of CO(2-l), circumstellar envelope, and found that the molecules of SiO, II20 and OH maser distribute on the multiple separated spheric shells, so are the molecules of CO(2-1). We have also studied its velocity structure and obtained the distribution curve of its field of expanding velocity. Key words: Star-circumstellar envelope-structure An interpretation of the millisecond and secondscale time structures in the radio spike radiation AAnS 34/l (1993) 32-37 SHI Jian-kui (Center for Space Science & Applied Research) ZHAO Ren-yang (Beijing Astronomical Observatory) In the present paper, the time structures in solar radio spike radiation have been studied. We suggest that during the oscillations of the nonlinear magnetohydrodynamic “sausage” wave modes, the energetic electron beams are reflected to and fro between each two adjacent magnetic mirror points, forming the loss-cone distributions in which the upward moving electron beams drive the growth of the wave modes of electron cyclotron maser instabilities, and generate the millisecond-scale spike radiation. In the meanwhile, the sausage wave modes modulate the ms-spike radiation with the period of second-scale. this modulation period is consistent with the evolution period of the electron beams in the loss-cone distributions. We also find a way top adjust the tunable Evans filter’s mainband onto its line center.
