Promoting Interdisciplinary Approaches to Child Protection Presented by The International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) and Nobody's Children Foundation It is the second time in 25 years of ISPCAN history that the European Regional Conference will be held in Eastern Europe (the previous was Prague in 1991). The Warsaw Conference will provide a unique opportunity for Eastern European professionals to exchange experiences and adopt new methodological tools. The Conference will be open to multidisciplinary professionals including psychologists, social workers, physicians, educators, legislators, and law enforcement officers. Speakers will include prominent specialists in the field of child abuse both from the region, USA, and Western Europe. The conference web site: http://www.ispcan2003.info Nobody's Children Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization providing broad assistance to abused children. Nobody's Children Foundation is a leading Polish NGO, which has been working in the field of child abuse since 1991; main activities include: therapeutic assistance to abused children, research, training and program publishing, and consultation projects for Eastern European professionals working with children at risk. Abstract deadline: February 1, 2003 Total time for presentation including discussion: 15 minutes. Abstract acceptance notifications will be issued by May 15, 2003. Abstracts must be typed in English using single spacing and Times New Roman 12-point front if possible.
