PPG showcased its ENVIROCRON® and ENVIRACRYL® high-performance powder coating technologies during the 2016 Powder Coating Show at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, April 11-14. Led by Envirocron HTE (high-transferefficiency) coating for geometrically complex surfaces, the Envirocron product line includes resin chemistries such as epoxy, polyester, polyurethane and hybrid epoxypolyester coatings. Another product highlighted was Envirocron XMR (eXtreme Mar Resistance) coatings. With a proprietary PPG formulation that gives ceramic-like properties to the surface of these powder coatings, they can achieve the hardness and mar resistance typically associated with porcelain enamel coatings. That helps PPG powder coatings customers in the appliance, general finish, transportation and wheel segments make products that look better and last longer. PPG also displayed Enviracryl acrylic-based powder coatings, which provide high-gloss color and clearcoat protection for class A-type finishes. These products are based on the same technology that has made Enviracryl coatings an industry-leading choice for automotive clear coating, wheel and transportation applications

New Special Effects Folder by Europolveri is now Available The "Special Effects'' folder collects 65 products divided into two product series: Polyester powder coatings based on TGIC free for external use and epoxy polyester powder coatings for internal use. It's available the new "Special Effects'' folder made by Europolveri to supply an updated working instrument to its customers, giving them the chance to take decisions easily and quickly. The "Special Effects'' folder collects 65 products divided into two product series: Polyester powder coatings based on TGIC free for external use and epoxy polyester powder coatings for internal use. A chromatic evidence allows to identify the stock products. The need for this folder derives from the fact that in this context these are not purely chromatic effects but special effects that with their surface finishes involve not only the sight but also the sense of touch. To allow a more realistic vision and perception of the special effects and colours, Europolveri has produced this folder applying coatings on aluminium panels.
