LIFE SCIENCES announces

AIDS RESEARCH COMMUNICATIONS To appear as a special section of the Journal

The aims of the AIDS Section in LIFE SCIENCES include the development of a forum for rapid publication of clinically relevant laboratory research on AIDS and AIDS-related subjects. These include aspects of epidemiology and pathogenesis, virology, microbiology, immunology, physiology, and therapeutic approaches including the use of antiviral and immunomodulatory drugs. Studies in vitro, in relevant animal models and in human subjects, will all be welcome. Studies of phenomenology as well as mechanisms of disease will be relevant as will brief reports, definitive papers and minireviews. LIFE SCIENCES aims to review manuscripts rapidly and publish submitted papers in 6-8 weeks after receipt in camera ready format. This is particulary relevant to the AIDS epidemic where advances should be rapidly disseminated.
