CLINICAL GASTROENTEROLOGY The Best Practice & Research series aims to provide a topical serial publication describing and integrating the results from the latest original research articles into practical, evidence-based review articles. These articles seek to address the key clinical issues of diagnosis, treatment and patient management. Each issue follows a problem-orientated approach which focuses on the key questions to be addressed, clearly defining what is known and not known. Management is described in practical terms so that it can be applied to the individual patient. The serial is aimed at the physician in both practice and training. Best Practice & Research Clinical Gastroenterology is abstracted and indexed in the following sources: Index Medicus, Medline, PubMed, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, Current Contents/Life Sciences, Science Citation Index, SciSearch, Research Alert and EMBASE/Excerpta Medica.
