Europe shifts priority from VOC control to economic growth. The new European Commission is geared more on addressing issues related to economic recovery instead of environmental issues. It may likely recede with air emissions regulations being implemented on the European coatings and other industries. Social issues concerning poor air quality may lead to varied and stricter VOC limits, particularly through IAQ measures. Different regulations across European countries may bring issues related to supply and IAQ
