The Sensometric Society invites applications for
Travel bursaries Student scholarships for participation in the 12th Sensometrics meeting 2014. The Sensometric Society invites applications for The Sensometric Society intends to provide travel grants and/or scholarships for attendance at the 12th Sensometrics meeting, to be held July 30–August 1, 2014 in Chicago, Illinois, USA: http://www.pk-research.com/sensometrics2014 Prerequisite for application is the submission of an abstract to the conference. The decision about the awards will be based on both expressed need and merit. Merit will be evaluated based on quality of the abstract, its acceptance as oral or poster, and further documentation as specified in the application template. Travel Grants The travel grant intends to allow a person to travel to the conference who would otherwise not be able to attend the conference. Preference will be given to applications requiring long distance travel. The travel grant will include reimbursement of expenses up to a specified amount. Applications for the travel grant must be supported by a reasonable (and substantiated) estimate of expected travel expenses for travel and stay. Scholarships Meeting scholarships intend to cover the costs incurred with attending the conference. Scholarships include registration to the conference. Decisions about awards for the 12th Sensometric Meeting will be made by the Executive Committee based on recommendations from the Awards Committee composed of selected members of the society. Award recipients will be notified by mid-May 2014, and must promptly confirm their intention to receive the award. All applications must be received by the committee by March 21, 2014.
