Membranes and the Environment: A special C3 post-ICOM workshop in honour of Roger Ben Aim, Tony Fane and John Howell 14–17 July 2002, Oxford, UK The Workwhop will provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to meet and interact with each other in a relaxed setting. Those offering papers are asked to relate their contribution to the work of one or more of the three ‘‘Musketeers’’ whom we are honouring and to the theme of the meeting, ‘‘Membranes and the Environment’’. The Workshop will be held in Oxford, UK during July 2002 immediately after ICOM 2002. The Workshop will offer an excellent opportunity (i) to reflect upon the legacy of the three pioneers, (ii) to consider the state-of-the-art following the major triennial conference in our field and (iii) to ask ‘‘Where to next?’’ Outline Programme Sunday 14th July Monday 15th July AM:
