Electrostatic copier Tektronix have introduced two hardcopy units for producing high-contrast black and white images. The 4611 attaches to storage tube devices; the 4612 is for use with raster scan devices. Both units produce images measuring 190 mm x 140 mm (7½ in x 5¾ in). Lloyd's Register has developed computer-based fault-tree analysis techniques for reliability and hazard analysis of ships and industrial plant. Using the failure rates predicted by the reliability analysis, the operational cycle of the plant can be simulated.
