CALL FOR PAPERS APPLIED PROBABILITY MODELS AND MEASUREMENT IN MARKETING

Due to an increased availability of data and also to an increased interest amongst the practitioners, one can notice more and more applications of statistical techniques and stochastic models in marketing. It is not uncommon that marketing decisions are made based on the outcomes of sophisticated models for empirical data. As developments in this area proceed with rapid pace, it is important to once in a while establish the current state of the art concerning these empirical models. It is for this reason that the journal Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry (Wiley) is publishing a special issue on Applied Probability Models and Measurement in Marketing. All empirical work related to the probabilistic modelling of choice, preference, and/or behaviour is welcome. Analysis of large data sets is also encouraged. Papers can be submitted electronically to the Guest Editors:
